About

I’ve been writing ever since I was a little girl, unable to control the urge of stories that wanted to percolate through my fingers into the keyboard. Or back then, onto the old Royal typewriter. (Before the TRS-80 even! Wow!)

It’s a learning process and I’m still at it, still writing and learning about craft, style, synopsis, agents, editors and more! I’ve had some moderate success, for which I’m grateful, but I’m still working hard, with my ultimate goal to have novels in print.

In the meantime, I’m keeping my day job as a family law attorney, my night job as parent to three children with special needs, and writing when I can. As the computer age enters its prime, I wanted to expand my writing universe onto the World Wide Web, and here I am! Don’t be frightened! :)

  1. Just wanted to say hello. I’m another wordpress blogger (nice template ;-) who writes on gifted issues and parenting.

  2. Nice page, SOM! We dealt with the magnet school issue when we lived in South Florida. Two of the older daughters who just missed the cut for gifted tried the magnets instead, just so they’d get some kind of education at all. I sympathize with the difficulties. Best of luck to your children!

  11. Hello,

I’m Mike from Center’d. As your readers begin planning for the holidays, I thought I’d reach out and share a resource that they might find useful. Center’d has teamed up with Real Simple to create a Thanksgiving planning center with tips, recipes and ready-made plans to help make this turkey day a success.

You can view the site here: http://www.centerd.com//plans/static/2008/thanksgiving/main/

You would find more pages on thanksgiving like Potluck Dinner, Recipes and 40 Ways to Simplify Thanksgiving.

We’d love to hear what you think about Center’d and a mention in your blog would be appreciated if you feel our site would bring value to your readers.

    Thanks and Regards
    Mike

Thanks for the nice comment and well-wishes on my blog. I appreciate them! BTW–loved seeing the pictures you posted of Sandstone Falls in the New River Gorge Area. I spent a summer as a naturalist at a nearby state park and used to take visitors to tour the Falls, too. Your beautiful pictures brought back very sweet memories. Thanks!
